Poplar Bark Siding has been around for years. The first to use bark as cladding was the native Indians and then our mountain ancestors caught on to the idea. The old timers knew that bark was good enough for the trees it would work for their home. Our family has been in the timber industry for 20 years and cladding for homes was the idea for Timberclad. We use a special dry kiln to dry our bark and we only select the highest quality bark. Each piece is inspected and only the most artistic bark is chosen for our customers.
