Timberclad Poplar Bark Siding
The Bark People!
Danny Heatherly is native of Haywood County in Western North Carolina.
He comes from a second generation timber harvest family by trade. He has 24 plus years experience in harvest and procuring timber in the Appalachian mountains. Poplar Bark Siding has been around for years. The first to use bark as cladding was the native Indians and Europeans. Our mountain ancestors caught on to the idea. The old timers knew that bark was good enough for the trees it would work for their home. So Cladding homes with bark is not a new idea as the history of bark stands for itself.
Danny operated Mountain Timber Inc. and then Timberclad Poplar Bark Siding was birthed.
Barkclad Natural Products now defines our company. Barkclad uses a special dry kiln to dry our bark and we only select the highest quality bark. Each piece is inspected by Danny and his staff. They only chose the most artistic bark for our customers.
Danny believes in strong Christian Values and Integrity is the main focus of Barkclad Natural Products. When you call Barkclad you have direct access to the owner, harvester and technician to answer any questions you may have.
Barkclad is located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. We serve customers all across the country and Canada. When you buy bark from Barkclad your “barking up the right tree”.
